LCF Graduate Show 2007

The London College of Fashion commissioned Moving Brands to conceive, design and build the 2007 Graduate Portfolio Exhibition in the Rootstein-Hopkins Space at their headquarters.

The challenge: How to show up to 500 student portfolios in an easy to use format.
The solution: Use a digital approach and house it within a 'library' setting.
Each student is represented by a post-card sized paper tag which is located on a wall. On the back of each card is a unique pair of identifier tags, so when the card is placed on one of the four tables the student's work is revealed and can be navigated gesturally. This system was developed using the following software: reacTIVision, Processing, Whirlycache, JOAL (Java OpenAL bindings) and toxiclibs.
